1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Freenance, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
2. Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms of Service:
- Service - Freenance financial management platform and all related services
- User - Any individual or entity that accesses or uses the Service
- Content - All information, data, text, software, music, sound, photographs, graphics, video, messages, or other materials
- Account - A user account created to access the Service
- Related Services - External service providers integrated with the Freenance platform, such as Stripe (payments), banks (data import), financial data providers
- Partners - Third parties providing services supporting the Freenance platform
3. Service Description
Freenance provides a comprehensive financial management platform that includes:
- Earnings and expense tracking
- Asset and portfolio management
- Financial analysis and reporting
- Integration with third-party financial services
4. User Obligations
As a user of Freenance, you agree to:

- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
5. User Accounts
To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information.
- You must provide true, accurate, and current information during registration
- We may require verification of your identity through identity documents
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password and all activities performed under your account
- You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
- We may suspend or terminate your account in case of violation of these Terms
- You are responsible for all content you enter into the system, including financial documents, transaction data, and other information
- You warrant that all data entered by you is true, accurate, and current
- You retain ownership of your data, but grant us a license to process it for Service provision
6. Payment Terms

- We accept credit/debit card payments and bank transfers
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually with automatic renewal
- Refunds are possible within 14 days of purchase, in accordance with consumer law
- You can cancel your subscription at any time in account settings
- Prices may change with 30 days notice for existing users
- We reserve the right to introduce additional payment methods in the terms without separate update of these Terms
7. Service Availability
We make every effort to ensure continuous Service availability, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:
- Planned maintenance and system updates
- Technical issues beyond our control
- Force majeure or extraordinary circumstances
We will notify in advance of planned outages when possible.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Freenance and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

The Freenance platform may integrate with external data providers, such as banks, payment providers (Stripe), and other financial services. Details about external data:
- Data from external integrations is used solely for providing Freenance platform services
- Accuracy of external data depends on the providers of such data - we cannot guarantee their completeness or currency
- Freenance is not responsible for errors, delays, or inaccuracies in data from external providers
- The user is aware that integration data may be limited by policies and restrictions of external providers
- The user should familiarize themselves with the terms and conditions of external providers, which may have legal significance or limitations on data use
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We disclaim all warranties and conditions of any kind, whether express or implied.
- IMPORTANT: The Service does not provide financial, investment, or tax advice. Freenance is not licensed by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (Komisja Nadzoru Finansowego - KNF) to provide investment advisory services. All information, analysis, and tools provided by the Service are for informational and educational purposes only.
- KNF Compliance: Freenance is not a licensed investment firm under Polish law and does not provide investment recommendations, advice, or recommendations within the meaning of the Act on Trading in Financial Instruments. Any financial data, analysis, or insights displayed through the Service should not be construed as investment advice.
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information, data, or analysis provided through the Service
- Users are solely responsible for their own financial decisions and should consult with qualified financial advisors, tax professionals, or investment advisors before making any investment or financial decisions
- The Service does not recommend, endorse, or suggest any specific financial instruments, investment strategies, or financial products. Any references to financial instruments or investment opportunities are for informational purposes only
- The Service does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of features related to external integrations
- Lack of guarantee also applies to the currency of data resulting from external integrations

In no event shall Freenance, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
- All disputes will be resolved by courts competent for Warsaw, Poland
- In case of disputes, parties will seek to resolve them amicably through negotiations
- If negotiations do not yield results, parties may use mediation
- Mediation may be conducted in Polish or English, depending on party preferences
- These Terms have been prepared in Polish and English, with the Polish version taking precedence
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
